Only for parents or guardians who are inside the facility.*
*If you are going for an outdoor run, you must carry your cell phone with you at all times. Please leave your number with the staff in the child care center before leaving the building. (Boot camp and Group-X participants don’t need to carry their phones when going outside.)

You must bring your child into the room. Do not drop them off outside the front of the childcare room.

No infant car seats are allowed past the entryway/sign-in area. Car seats can either be left in vehicles or on cubbies/under the counter in the entryway.

Please provide any required bottles, pacifiers, or diapers for infants or toddlers. Our staff is not required to change diapers or feed children, but they will work with parents to help with these tasks.

We encourage you to spend time in the childcare room to observe interactions and ensure your child's comfort on their first visit.

Please label your child's possessions. Sticky labels are available at the counter.
For your child's safety, children will only be released to the parent or guardian with whom they arrived unless prior permission has been provided.

Outside toys can be disruptive. Only bring appropriate items with your child.
- Allowable items are security items, books for older children, and tablets/iPads.
- Examples of inappropriate toys would be toy guns, toy knives, baseball bats, or small items that pose a choking hazard.

Good Life Fitness and staff are not responsible for the loss or damage of personal items.

Child care staff cannot administer any medications.

No food, gum, or snacks are allowed in the childcare area. (Water and infant formula/breast milk are the only drinks allowed.)

Please DO NOT bring any child who is ill.

Children must be fever-free for 24 hours before entering the childcare room.

We will not accept any child who has any illness associated with a fever or with any communicable conditions (ringworm, diarrhea, head lice, pink eye, etc.).

Unacceptable behavior will be addressed if necessary. We do use time-outs.
- Time-out duration is based on the age of your child. One minute per year your child is old. Example : Age 5 = 5 minute time out

Open communication is essential in the childcare room. You will be notified upon picking up your child if any disciplinary actions were taken.

Unacceptable behavior includes but is not limited to:
- Abusive or disrespectful language
- Running, jumping, or roughhousing
- Throwing objects
- Biting, hitting, or pushing

If excessive disruptive or otherwise unacceptable behavior continues, the following steps will be used:
- First notice - Incident report filed
- Second notice - 48-hour suspension of child care use
- Third notice - Meeting with the child care manager

Wii's are for children 5 and older.

There will be zero tolerance for any child misusing the Wii/iPads (i.e., throwing the controller, bossing other players around, bad language, etc.)

iPads are for children 4 and older.

Good Life Fitness is not responsible for loss or damage to any Wii games that are bought in by children/parents. No violent games will be allowed.

When the room has 8 or more children over the age requirements who want to play the Wii/iPad there will be a 15-minute time limit per child.
