How To Look Past Short Term Motivation

WOW the warm weather is here!!  The gyms are packed and people are really pushing for Memorial weekend!!! Just think the tube tops, tank tops, and the daisy duke shorts are here:)   If you look at the fitness year we are typically motivated for a specific time or special event!!  If it is the New Year or the wedding season we are always looking for the next inspiring goal.  In my prior post http://goodlifefit.com/2013/03/22/the-secret-formula-for-fitness-success/  we identified a 5 step plan for your success! Please keep in mind there are 2 major time frames to accomplish in fitness….21 days and 12 weeks.  If you can make it past 12 weeks your success rate will be high, but even after 12 weeks many fail to really realize the REAL reason why they need to exercise!  The key is to be honest with yourself and identify the real reason?  I am not sure what that might be but revealing your weakness is tough for many because it does show your true self.  It’s okay…it is crucial:)  What I do find interesting is people who are successful in business, helping others, or fitness must be willing to do 2 things…..SACRIFICE and BE HUNGRY to succeed at all costs!!!
